The K in the shop name stands for Kayla. That's me, hi! I'm a wife, actress, and student based out of Pensacola, Florida.

ABOUT THE SHOP

One time, I played a mermaid on a local pirate ship. I looked all over town for some cool mermaid jewelry to go with my costume, but everything I found was either too gaudy or two expensive. So I decided I would make my own. Had I ever tried this before? Nope! But I love trying new things. So after way too many hours, I'd done it! And then all I could think about was "I want to make another one." So I made another one. And then I was like "OMG, I want just want to sit here all day and make bracelets!" Now, I'm totally addicted. I started posting my creations on Instagram and was encouraged by friends to sell them. So here I am. :)

Making jewelry is also a therapeutic outlet for stress and anxiety management. I've lived with anxiety for most of my life, and recently I've been encouraged to find a hobby outside of acting that can help me relax and focus my nervous energy into something relaxing, yet productive. Because of my personal experience with anxiety and depression, in addition to many friends and loved ones who experience various forms of mental illness, it's something that is very close to my heart.
